“A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.” – Lao Tzu

I guess we were not good travelers because we had plans, and were so intent on arriving!

My package waiting for me at the hotel. It's a pocket wifi, I rented online, check here for further information

My second package from Fraser World.

Pocket wifi, unboxing!

Tadaa......the pocket wifi with a charger and step by step instruction.

It was so easy to get connected. Thanks to Global Advanced Communications.

I thought with a red-eye flight, we can sleep through the journey and not lose a day of travel. Well, it was no fun, when I didn't sleep a wink throughout the journey. The worst part was getting to our destination early in the morning without sufficient rest. Thankfully, we were allowed to use the hotel guest lounge to freshen up. Our journey's saving grace. After the shower, we felt like we could conquer the world.

Once we were out in the street, I closed my eyes and imagined that it was cherry blossom season with the beautiful flowers in full bloom. I was strolling in the park taking photographs. But the sound of ambulance sirens woke me up from my dream. Duh, it was pre-summer and the 'baiyu' season was just around the corner. We were still excited and thrilled to be in Japan!

“The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes “sight-seeing.” –Daniel J. Boorstin
